While Lisa might be the lead RD at the practice, and has a candid communication style, she is anything but intimidating. She strives to make each and every client feel cared for, comfortable and like they’re getting useful, personalized advice.
Lisa Moskovitz, RD, CDN, is the CEO of NY Nutrition Group, founded in 2013 and the author of The Core 3 Healthy Eating Plan, a simple and scientific solution to finding your healthiest, happiest body. Lisa makes frequent appearances across a variety of news platforms including Fox 5, Inside Edition, Business Insider, Healthline, and Well + Good. Lisa received her B.S. in nutrition from Syracuse University where she graduated with honors and then completed a 12-month intensive dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. With over a decade of experience in private practice, she has a knack for empowering her clients to feel healthier and more confident in their skin.
Lisa is a diet neutral dietitian which means she believes weight loss diets can be helpful for some and harmful for others. Her approach is not diet-centered, it’s client-centered. She believes that when it comes to nutrition, there is no one-size-fits-all method and that personalization is paramount for sustainability and success.
